Demo Guides Hub

What this hub covers

Alien Invasyndrome is an adult stealth-action Demo set on the exploration vessel Atlas. You control a weak alien larva: hide, softlock under desks, grow a nest, spend INT and STR points, capture when the window is clean, and open routes through Kitchen, Clinic, Laboratory, Cafeteria, and the Security Room. This hub is the mechanical entry point for Demo players who want clear systems, not lore essays.

All characters in the game are written as 18+. This wiki keeps a guide-focused tone: detection timers, nest loops, skill order, and route splits. Adult scenes exist in the Demo; we mention them only when they affect progression or softlocks.

Wishlist the full game on Steam app 4603980 (developer Mozu Field / 百舌鳥, publisher Shady Corner Games). Full release remains TBA. Demo builds reached a Demo 1.0 hotfix (May 2026) checkpoint after earlier 0.65 → 0.99 preview eras; UI strings and skill names can still shift between patches. Track drift on Changelog and Version History.

Start here

  1. Read How to Play for the larva loop: move, hide, strike, retreat, spend points.
  2. Internalize Stealth and Detection — the ~1 minute hide penalty after a spotting decides most failed runs.
  3. Unlock nest economy with How to Nest before you push deep decks.
  4. When capture / reproduce commits matter, open How to Capture.
  5. When cover choice is the failure mode, open Vents and Cover.
  6. When you hit Security Room branching, open Security Room and the Security Routes walkthrough.
  7. Cap the Demo with How to Beat the Boss and keep Softlock Fixes bookmarked.

Cross-link into Demo Walkthrough, Clinic Doctor Route, Skill Tree, and Atlas Overview once the basics stick.

How guides are written

Each leaf guide aims for actionable steps: room context, failure modes, and recovery. Sibling pages under Guides cross-link heavily so you can jump from nesting into stealth without returning to the homepage. When a room name appears (Kitchen, Clinic, Laboratory, Cafeteria), treat it as a Demo landmark — see Key Rooms for layout notes.

If Japanese UI text is hard to parse, configure Locale Emulator before blaming a softlock. Input bindings and stealth verbs live under Controls.

Demo scope vs full ship

The Demo is a vertical slice of Atlas: enough decks and rooms to teach stealth, nest growth, capture commits, Clinic / Doctor pacing, and one Security Room / boss sequence. Do not assume every Steam blurb room exists in your build. When a route fails, check Changelog, Version History, and Steam Status before grinding the same corridor.

Session 1: How to Play → Stealth and Detection → keyboard refresher in Keyboard Controls.
Session 2: How to Nest → How to Capture → Early Build → Kitchen Route.
Session 3: Vents and Cover → Clinic Doctor Route → Security Room → Security Routes → Boss → Softlock Fixes as needed.

For a linear narrative clear, use the Walkthrough Hub instead of jumping guide-to-guide.

FAQ placement and tools

Guides end with FAQs aimed at search-style questions (detection timer, nest first, route A vs B, capture windows). Interactive helpers live in Tools: Skill Planner, Nest Checklist, and Detection Timer.
